A 12 sided die was rolled to generate pitches to use for improvisation for each tracks 3 and 5. The pitches for track 4 where also generated randomly..
About the cover art by Gabe Patti:
32.5" x 32.5" oil on panel. Built upon hobo pictographs drawn with sharpies, the cover is an oil transcribing the music of Horns of Kaos according to hues chosen by the artist. For example, tenor sax painted only with burnt sienna, alizarin orange, alizarin crimson and burnt umber. Trumpet and upper woodwinds occupied more blues and greens. The overlap and clashes is chaos and describes our musical hobo roots.
